The client graciously sent in a picture of the cake "in action." I love the pictures used as candles!
The marbling looks a bit crazy.... its a lemon butter cake with a chocolate buttercream filling. The birthday boy just called to say it was delicious. Yahoo! what fun!

I am the commissioner of this cake, and I could not be more pleased!!!
The 2 year old in the party could not take her eyes off the spectacular confection. As dinner arrived, she began a chant under her breath, "eat it, eat it, eat it" , certainly not meaning the main course. Her adult noticed, and then our table joined her, and finally the restaurant rang with EAT IT! EAT IT! EAT IT! So we did, even before we finished dinner.
The psychedelic swirls inside provided ongoing very delicious amusement too!
