The new hen house is finally done (or at least mostly). The girls had definitely outgrown their brood box. This is a picture of the back side of the hen house leading out into their yard. This is their first foray out doors. The silkies led the way. Brave birds. Al insisted they needed steps on their ramp for their little feet. It is hard to imagine their full grown size at this point, but, except for the Bantams, they will eventually reach 8 to 10 pounds of fluffy hen.I'll post more tomorrow. Tonight I am tired out. This has been quite a job getting the coop done before the birds started stressing too much in their former digs. Watching Chick TV is definitely the best show in town these days!
