WOW!!!!! Your Very. First. Cake??? That's incredible -- amazing, completely fabulous! It looks well-worthy of Carmen Miranda. I cannot even begin to imagine actually cutting into and consuming such a creation. I consider myself a pretty decent cook, but seriously...in awe! You did invite me to stop in for a cup of tea, right? Should I book plane tickets before all the leftovers are gone, or is this likely to be the first of many equally astonishing creations? I mean, on any given day from now on, might there be cake to go with that tea?? Seems to me that once you've experienced having something like that in the house, you might never want to be without! Nicely done, Mrs. P!
